How To Use:

For Daily Scalp Treatment: Part your hair to expose the area you're treating. Apply two to four drops directly to the scalp, not the hair. Massage in with your fingertips, not your nails, for one to two minutes. Leave on. Do not rinse. We recommend applying to targeted areas every 2 days for maximum results.

Edges and temples: two drops per side, worked along the hairline.

Part line or crown: part in sections and apply along the exposed scalp.

Expected Results Timeline:

FAQs

What causes thinning edges? Two distinct causes. Traction alopecia comes from mechanical tension — braids, weaves, ponytails and edge control pulling on the follicle. Female pattern hair loss is hormonal, driven by dihydrotestosterone shrinking the follicle over successive growth cycles. They require different approaches, and early traction alopecia is reversible only if the tension stops.

Does pumpkin seed oil work for hair loss? A randomised trial compared pumpkin seed oil topically against minoxidil 5% foam in sixty patients over three months and found significant reductions in hair shaft diversity and vellus hair count. A separate placebo-controlled oral trial in 76 men found a 40% increase in hair count over 24 weeks. Its beta-sitosterol and linoleic acid both inhibit 5-alpha reductase.

What is DHT and why does it matter? Dihydrotestosterone is a hormone made when testosterone meets an enzyme called 5-alpha reductase. In people genetically sensitive to it, DHT causes follicles to shrink slightly with each growth cycle until the hair they produce is too fine to see. It is the mechanism behind most pattern thinning.

Will this work for traction alopecia? Partly. Traction alopecia comes from tension, not DHT, so the anti-androgen ingredients do less for it. Gotu kola, licorice and celery seed address the inflammation and support tissue repair. But nothing in a bottle works while the tension continues, and once follicles scar the loss is permanent.

Can you reverse traction alopecia? Early traction alopecia is reversible if the tension stops. Once follicles scar, the loss is permanent and no topical product restores them. Anti-inflammatory and tissue-repair ingredients support recovery, but removing the mechanical tension is the only thing that addresses the cause.

Will it work for postpartum shedding? Postpartum telogen effluvium is not DHT-driven — it is follicles pushed into rest by hormonal change.
