Brightening Body Oil
Best Body Oil for Dark Spots, Hyperpigmentation & Uneven Skin Tone - Fade Scars Naturally
Rich enough to be your moisturizer. Formulated to be your treatment.
Two pumps and your skin soaks it up. What's left is glow. The kind that moves when you move, that catches across your collarbone and down your legs, and makes people wonder what you've been doing differently.
Hit them with that bergamot and lavender scent and let the jasmine and vanilla do the rest. Bright, clean, gone from the room but still leaving a lasting impression.
And underneath all of it, the part you’ve been waiting for. Sepiwhite™ MSH and licorice root, woven into nine oils, bringing brighter days and fading dark spots away.
Most brightening routines want a wash, a scrub, a spot cream and a moisturiser. This is one bottle rich enough that you'd reach for it anyway — working the whole time you do.
Where your skincare routine stops, this starts. Radiance you can see. Everywhere.
Transform your skin with our Hyperpigmentation Body Oil, a powerful blend of natural skin brightening oils and botanical extracts that fade dark spots, even skin tone, and reveal radiant, luminous skin. This fast-absorbing body oil targets stubborn hyperpigmentation, acne scars, sun damage, and uneven skin tone on your entire body.
Why It Works:
Three Actives, Three Different Routes Most brightening products lean on a single ingredient and hope.
Bakuchiol A plant compound from babchi seed that produces retinol-like results without being a retinoid. In a twelve-week double-blind trial it matched retinol on the appearance of uneven tone and fine lines, while the retinol group reported significantly more stinging and scaling. That difference is the point: on melanin-rich skin, irritation is what causes marks to form and linger, so a gentler active isn't a compromise — it's the correct choice.
Camellia Seed Oil One of the largest oil in the formula and the reason it absorbs the way it does. Roughly 80% oleic acid, which skin takes up readily, and it finishes powdery-soft rather than slick. The traditional Japanese beauty oil, and still one of the best.
Vitamin C that works in oil. Most vitamin C is water-based and can't go in an oil. THD ascorbate is oil-soluble, and it's the cofactor your skin needs to make collagen at all.

How To Use:
Daily Application for Best Results: Apply to damp skin, straight out of the shower. Apply twice a day if your skin is very dry (morning, night or daily).
- Cleanse and pat lightly, leaving skin damp
- Spray over arms, legs, chest and body
- Massage in until absorbed
- Give it two to three minutes before dressing
- Wear SPF 30+ during the day, since new sun exposure creates new marks
Why damp skin matters: oil seals moisture in rather than adding it. On damp skin it locks in the water from your shower. On dry skin it still softens, but it has nothing to seal.
Advanced Treatment Tips:
- Exfoliate First: Use 2-3 times weekly before applying oil for better absorption
- Layer with Moisturizer: Apply oil first, then moisturizer for extra hydration
- Spot Treatment: Apply extra drops directly on stubborn dark spots
- Full Body Treatment: Add 5-10 drops to your body lotion for all-over brightening
- Consistency is Key: Use for at least 8-12 weeks to see significant results
- Sun Protection: ALWAYS use sunscreen during the day to prevent new dark spots
Travel: the 40 mL glass bottle is cabin-friendly.
Expected Results Timeline:
- Weeks 1-2: Skin feels softer and stays that way longer between showers. Tightness after bathing eases. The glow is visible the first day.
- Weeks 3-6: Skin feels smoother rather than just softer. Flaking reduces. Moisture holds through the day instead of fading by afternoon, because the barrier ingredients are working.
- Weeks 6-12: This is where the actives show. Tone looks more even across areas that were patchy. Marks and uneven areas soften in appearance. Take a photo at week one so you have something honest to compare against.
- Weeks 12+: Skin holds moisture longer on its own. Tone continues to even with consistent use.
Results vary with skin type, climate, bathing habits, overall health and consistency of use. This product supports the appearance and condition of skin. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition.
FAQs
What helps the appearance of dark marks on inner thighs and underarms? Those areas darken from friction, shaving, heat, and inflammation — the marks are post-inflammatory rather than a skin condition. What helps their appearance is a brightening active used consistently, in a base that doesn't add irritation of its own. This oil combines three, and results build across weeks rather than days.
What is bakuchiol? A compound from babchi seed used cosmetically for the appearance of fine lines and uneven tone. It produces effects similar to retinol while not being a retinoid, and it's significantly better tolerated. It's also photostable, which is why it can sit in a daytime product.
Is bakuchiol the same as retinol? No. It's not a retinoid and doesn't belong to that family — it acts on some of the same pathways by a different route. In practice that means comparable results with far less stinging, peeling, and irritation.
Is this a skin lightening product? No. It addresses the appearance of tone and dark marks. It contains no hydroquinone, no bleaching agents, and makes no claim to remove pigment or change your natural skin colour.
How long before you see a difference? Six to twelve weeks of daily use for most people, with continued improvement after that. Tone changes gradually.
Is it safe during pregnancy? Check with your doctor. Bakuchiol is often marketed as a pregnancy-safe alternative to retinol, but that has not been established in clinical trials, and this formula also contains essential oils.
Will it clog pores or cause body acne? The oils here were chosen for how readily they absorb. They're all low on the comedogenic scale, and there's no mineral oil. Patch test if you're prone to body breakouts.
Will it stain my clothes or sheets? Sea buckthorn is deeply pigmented but not at the level we used. Give it one to two minutes to absorb before dressing.
Is a body oil better than a lotion? Different. A lotion is mostly water and hydrates quickly. An oil is entirely active material and seals. Because there's no water here, every application delivers a higher concentration of actives, and nothing evaporates.
Can I use it on my face? It's formulated for the body. The essential oil load is calibrated for body skin, which tolerates more than facial skin does. Please keep in mind, the skin on your face is more sensitive than the skin on your body so if you have acne-prone skin, for example, we strongly advise against using it on your face.
Does it contain nuts? Yes. Kukui and marula are both tree nut derived. Not suitable for anyone with a tree nut allergy.
How long does one bottle last? The 4 oz is roughly two to three months with daily use. The 40 mL travel size is about three weeks.
