The 3-Step Wash Day Ritual

Wash day is the longest day of your week and the one where most damage happens. Product buildup you can't rinse out. Hair that dries faster than you can section it. The detangling that costs you more length than anything else you do.

Three products, used in order, each one doing what the next one needs.

Clarify - The clay powder mixes fresh with apple cider vinegar and lifts weeks of buildup without setting hard, so you can finger-detangle while it's on.

Hydrate - The spray goes on while hair is still damp. Forty percent aloe inner leaf, pH-balanced to 4.5 to 5.0, water-thin enough to finish the whole bottle.

Seal - The cream goes on last, over damp hair, holding in the moisture the spray delivered. A dime, warmed between your palms.

That order matters - Clarify, hydrate, seal. Each step is undone by skipping the one before it.

Why It Works as a Set

The clay powder opens the door. Buildup is why products stop working. Once it's gone, the spray and cream actually reach the hair.

The spray delivers water. The cream keeps it there. An oil or butter alone seals whatever's already on the strand, which on dry hair is nothing. Misting first is what gives the cream something to hold.

Nothing here overlaps. Different jobs, different formats, one routine.

How To Use, In Order

1. Clay Treatment Powder. Mix 3 parts powder to 2 parts apple cider vinegar in a non-metal bowl. Fizz twenty seconds, stir smooth, rest five minutes. Apply to damp hair in sections, roots to ends, finger-detangling as you go. Cover and leave 25 to 30 minutes. Rinse while it's still soft. Once weekly, or every other week for dry or high-porosity hair.

2. Daily Hydrating Spray. Mist generously onto damp hair, roots to ends. Comb through. This is always the first step after rinsing.

3. Daily Moisturizing Hair Cream. Warm a dime-sized amount between your palms until it melts, about six seconds. Over the ends first, then back up through the scalp.

Between wash days: mist as needed, cream two to three times a week.

FAQs

Do I have to use them in that order? Yes, and it's the whole point of the set. Clay, then spray, then cream. The cream has nothing to seal if you skip the spray. 

How long will the set last? About four to six weeks for most people, depending on hair length and wash frequency. The clay powder lasts longest.

Is this enough for long hair? Mid-back and longer will use more clay per treatment, around nine tablespoons, so expect roughly three treatments from the jar rather than five.

Can I use the scalp treatment with this? Yes. That's a nightly treatment for thinning areas and doesn't interfere with wash day at all.

Is the set cheaper than buying separately? Yes, $8 less. The point is the routine, not the discount.

Do I still need to use a hair conditioner after I wash my hair with the clay mask? Yes. Even though we do not supply that product at the moment, you'll still need to apply a conditioner of your choosing. You'll then proceed with the following steps, starting with the daily Hydrating Spray.
